Identity & Coming Together:

We will create opportunities for our parishioners to identify with belonging to a welcoming, alive in faith, community.

For example ●Engaging with parishioners from each church• Combined South Parish Mass ● Youth Masses ●Connect with new parishioners● Create opportunities to know people by their name● Combined social groups& events (ie: parish picnic. parish family fun day, movie nights)●Hospitality as a combined group of churches  

Connection & Community:

We will have a variety of opportunities for our community to connect.

For example; • Youth group for teens and intermediate years ● Walking groups ●Exercise groups ●Parish seniors groups ● Mums & baby group ● Drama group ● Men’s group ●Women’s group ● Preschool music group ● Book club ● Craft group ● Presentations & workshops supporting couples, parents & families● Supporting existing groups ●Growing school& parish relationships.

Formation & Growth:

We will develop resources and engage with the people to equip them to grow in their understanding and deepening of their Catholic Faith and strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.

For example● Creating access to faith formation programmes centred around scripture & prayer ● Retreats and spiritual direction for groups & individuals● Family-centred faith formation •Marriage enrichment sessions ● Formation of small faith groups • Prayer, rosary scripture groups●Seasons for Growth programme (exploring, change, loss & grief) ●Supporting families sacramental formation  

Liturgical Celebrations:

The Liturgy will be supported with formation to achieve consistency across our Parish.

For example●Creating greater consistency across our Masses in all areas such as music & service ministries • Organising formation for liturgical ministers ●Supporting liturgy interaction●Growing church music groups & choirs

Communications:

We willl develop and implement a “Parish wide” Communication Plan.

For example●Develop a parish communication plan• Seek skills in desktop publishing & website/ social media management •Explore social media opportunities for evangelisation
